Outreach

BBQ’s are a great place where, all of the group had extra training of allowing the gifts to flow freely. This is freely accepted at the BBQ’s because the people are searching and looking for answers. We have seen backs healed, legs grown, headaches gone and a tumor on a ladies leg. After 5 years in Ipswich we have seen many changes in our people. They have enjoyed the BBQ’s to the point of it has become like a family, in a community setting where they take ownership of it. We had one guy say last week that he looks forward to our Wednesday nights, he comes for the fellowship with everyone. The BBQ’s just started with 1 night, but now it has grown to 5 nights a week, plus an extra one that we run at Goodna. Through networking with different local communities, they are taking the role of feeding and ministering to the people on the other nights. We have a school who wants to assist us for a two fold reason, one for their grade 11 & 12 students to one, give to the community and see how the less fortunate live, and two to sow into our ministry by running the BBQ every fortnight thanks to the assistance of the Parents and Friends Association .
